Alaska Cruise – Juneau


We went on another Alaska cruise this summer, but this time we took Alan and Jennifer, Cheryl and Mitch, and the three grandkids. We also invited Jennifer’s parents to join us, and they did, giving us a party of eleven. We headed to Seattle, boarded the Rhapsody of the Seas, and visited Juneau, Skagway, the Endicott Arm Fjord, Prince Rupert, and back to Seattle where we spent a couple of days seeing the city, visiting the space needle, a few museums, and the famous Seattle city market. This is number three, a visit to Juneau. Shirley and John did a walking tour, while the kids went dogsledding and rode the tram to the top of the mountain.

On July 9, 2010, former HAL CEO Kirk Lanterman and his wife Janet (godmother of the Amsterdam), invited almost 50 crew members to join them on the Sled Dog Discovery and Musher’s Camp Shore Excursion in Juneau, Alaska. Jeffrey Matthew Cohen is Amsterdam’s human resources manager.
